Website redesign, development, and ongoing maintenance for leadership communication website. Website features blog, e-newsletter, e-commerce application for product sales, and lead form integration with SalesForce CRM.

Process

Design

• Design mock-ups were created from client wireframes and content.
• Dynamic prototypes were developed for home and subpage templates, tested, and reviewed.

Development

• MoveableType install and configuration to client requirements.
• Custom MoveableType theme developed for content, structure, presentation and behavior.
• Miva merchant driven e-commerce solution was configured and skinned to match site presentation.
• Campaigns and custom auto reply logic was setup with SalesForce.com and lead gerneration and newsletter forms were integrated into the site.

Testing

• The site presentation was tested in multiple browsers. Client test completed user accetance testing.

Release

• The content, structure, presentation and bahviour was released to production after client approval. Site was monitored and issues were fixed as part of maintenance.

Maintenance/Enhancements

• A maintenance and enhancements plan was created with the client and ongoing changes are spec'd, developed and tested on a development server and released to production after client review and approval.
• Issues are tracked using a web-based issue tracking system that provides client with email notifications and updates on the status of issues. It also manages files and tracks client approvals.
